New Zealand
Simply put, New Zealand is one of the worlds most awesome trekking destinations with an amazing variety of options including:
Ball Pass Crossing:
This adventure takes you above Tasman Glacier to the crest of Ball Pass. You will have the chance to see Mount Cook and ascend the summits of nearby peaks, descend steep snow slopes into the gorges and bluffs of the rugged Hooker Valley, then trek along moraine terraces through lush vegetation. We have the option to stay in a comfortable alpine hut or wild camp. Regardless you will be surrounded by a spectacular panorama of New Zealand's highest peaks.
The Routeburn track:
This is a classic! The Routeburn track traverses 32km of Mt Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks. Located in the southwest of the South Island this trek starts at Lake Wakatipu, near the famous town of Queenstown. The Routeburn Track leads up to the high ridges around the Harris Saddle and provides views of spectacular mountain scenery. Generally this trek is completed within three days, quite simply this is a must do!
